Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Mohamed Sanu went on IR during his rookie season. Now he's on his way back.

The last time we heard about Bengals wide receiver Mohamed Sanu, he was "expected" to start running during spring camps within a few months. Sanu suffered a fracture in his foot during a Thursday practice (aka, the popular day for season-ending injuries) prior to San Diego.

Check that off as accomplished.

According to Geoff Hobson with Bengals.com, Sanu was cleared earlier this month and began running routes.

"It's great. It feels good. I've been working out and running," Sanu said this week during an interview about his experience at least year's NFL Scouting Combine. "I've been running routes for a while and it feels good."

Sanu is a possible answer to a long-standing question asking who is the No. 2 wide receiver, setting up another training camp battle this July.
