NFL Combine 2013: Bears GM Phil Emery: Several Potential Starting Safeties In The Draft

There's a growing sentiment that safety in the NFL draft could be one of the deepest in some time.

During his conference call on Tuesday (aka, national Mike Mayock day), draft expert and analyst Mike Mayock with the NFL Network called this year's draft "one of the best safety classes I've seen in years", later reiterating that "the safety depth is outstanding."

He's not the only one impressed with this year's safety class.

During his press conference on Thursday, Chicago Bears general manager Phil Emery articulated similar praise, tweets our own Jason Garrison, who covering the NFL Combine throughout its entirety.

The Cincinnati Bengals figure to be buyers in the safety market during free agency, as well as the NFL draft.
