Open Thread: 2013 NFL Combine Day 1 Comes To An End

USA TODAY Sports

Well, I gotta say. That was awesome. Nine hours of non-stop press conferences with coaches, general managers and players entering the upcoming draft has left me exhausted and hungry for more.

Thursday came and went in a flash. I showed up at Lucas Oil Stadium, which, if you haven't seen it, is a sight to behold, at 7:45 a.m. I checked in and got my credentials immediately, luckily beating the rush, and found a nice spot to plug in my laptop and prepare for a day of awesomeness.

I was soon joined by fellow SB Nation-ers Ryan Van Bibber and Dan Kadar and shortly after, the first coach, recently-hired Bears coach Marc Trestman, took the stage and addressed the media. From that point, until Jets coach Rex Ryan and Colts general manager Ryan Grigson, wrapped up the day at 5 p.m., it was a non-stop flurry of press conferences, football and player interviews. It couldn't have been a better day.

But tomorrow will be a better day as Marvin Lewis will take the stage to address the media at 11:30 a.m. and player workouts begin.

The scene at the combine is practically organized chaos as reporters from every newspaper and media outlet hurry up and wait at the different stages to hear what coaches refuse to tell them (it's a little too early to demand what free agency moves a team will make). Being in the same room, doing the same thing as the John Clayton's and the rest of the NFL media elite was an honor.

What would you like to know about the Combine? What would you want to hear from Lewis during his presser on Friday? Which players are you keeping a close eye on?
