Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis declared that no position on the team, except for starting quarterback, is being evaluated at the NFL Combine. Including depth position on the team's depth chart.

According to Carlos Holmes with the Dayton Daily News, the Bengals are "among the teams keeping a watchful eye" on Alan Bonner, a wide receiver out of Jacksonville State. In four collegiate seasons, Bonner posted 114 receptions for 1,986 yards receiving and 20 touchdowns.

More notably is Bonner's special teams production, returning 27 punts as a freshman for an average 37.5 yards per return, including a 64-yard touchdown. In all he returned 87 punts, averaging 24.5 yards per return. He also played gunner on coverage teams.

Bonner ran a 4.5 and a 4.47 during Sunday's workout at the Combine.

Cincinnati could address the position, but we figure it could be during the later stages of the 2013 NFL draft -- if at all. A.J. Green, Mohamed Sanu and Marvin Jones figure to be locks on the roster, with Andrew Hawkins being a virtual lock.
