As its been reported all over the various media outlets, Star Lotulelei has a heart condition which is requiring more tests to determine its severity. Star has been the #1 prospect on many draft boards for weeks now and the heart condition has sent him tumbling down draft boards in recent days. I still think its unlikely, but assuming he falls to the Bengals do you take him? I understand DT is not a huge need for the Bengals but could you let a guy with this much talent go by? IMO, even if Vaccaro is on the board (or Austin, Ogletree or anyone else we've been mocked) I take Star. Is it a risk? Yes, it's a huge risk but the potential reward is commensurate with that risk. Take into account that the safety and RB drafts, while not spectacular are fairly deep with not much separating the top guys.
As you can see, I like to throw out different scenarios to create conversation outside the repetition we normally see. Thoughts?
