Steven Jackson

According to reports, Steven Jackson plans to void the last year of his contract with the Rams and enter free agency in a few weeks. With the youth the Rams have at RB they weren't interested in giving him a multi-year extension. I know there's probably a .0001% chance he would end up in Cincinnati, but I'm curious what people's thoughts are on the subject. He'll be 30 this season but he hasn't shown any sign of slowing down. He's certainly better than Benjarvus Green-Ellis in the same workhorse mode only MUCH more explosive. I can't imagine anyone would offer a 30 year old RB anything more than a 3-year contract that was heavily front-loaded. Not sure what the cap implication would be for dumping BJGE and replacing him with a more expensive contract for Jackson, but it would certainly be an upgrade and wouldn't change a thing as far as our priority to find a speed back in the early rounds of this year's draft. Thoughts?
