The Cincinnati Bengals may actually have more to spend under the 2013 salary cap.

ESPN NFL Insider John Clayton reported in early January that next year's salary cap would be approximately $120.9 million, leaving the Cincinnati Bengals with $55.1 million available in space in 2013.

Close, but not quite.

According to Ian Rapoport with the NFL Network, teams are being told that the 2013 salary cap will be $121.1 million, which would be roughly $55.3 million under the cap for the Cincinnati Bengals, according to Clayton's projections.

Obviously that number isn't 100 percent accurate either due to recent transactions, notably Aaron Maybin, who signed a one-year deal worth $715,000 in late January -- which means he'll be one of the top-51 contracts once the new league year begins and existing contracts expire next month.
