The Cincinnati Bengals are in the market for a backup running back to compliment BenJarvus Green-Ellis.
When the Cincinnati Bengals, who are currently facing a shortage of running backs with Brian Leonard and Bernard Scott entering free agency, head to Alabama for the school's Pro Day on March 13, they won't be able to check out prospect running back Eddie Lacy.
According to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter, Lacy is experiencing tightness in his hamstring, which will prevent him from participating next week. Schefter tweets that there will be a scheduled workout later, which is currently undetermined. It's the same hamstring that kept Lacy out of the NFL Combine in February.
Lacy, who generated 1,322 yards rushing and 17 touchdowns last year, is currently ranked No. 1 and No. 2 in positional draft rankings by ESPN and NFL.com respectively. SB Nation's own Mocking the Draft lists Lacy as the top running back entering the 2013 NFL draft.
