If the Bengals were to consider Austin in the draft, they'd presumably be spending their first round pick on him, as he is widely considered the top prospect at his position. His speed and playmaking ability have enabled Austin to be utilized in both the backfield and in the return game during his time at West Virginia - creating much comparison with Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb and Vikings Seahawks wide receiver Percy Harvin.

Austin's breakout performance was against Oklahoma last season when he generated 572 all-purpose yards: rushing for 344 yards and two touchdowns, catching four passes for 82 yards and another 146 yards were gained on eight kick returns.

In his college career, Austin caught 288 passes for 3,413 yards and 29 touchdowns. He also rushed for 1,033 yards and six touchdowns.

One of Austin's more recent head-turning accomplishments was his official 40 time of 4.34 seconds at the NFL Combine in February.

It's not out of the question that the Bengals are weighing their options for a compliment to A.J. Green. But, as with any offseason meet-and-greet, we can only speculate on the Bengals level of interest until April of course.
