The Minnesota Vikings are purging. After trading wide receiver Percy Harvin on Monday for a one and seven in 2013 and a three in 2014, the Vikings released cornerback Antoine Winfield on Tuesday according to Tom Pelissero with 1530ESPN.com.

The market is going to be pretty bad for experienced cornerbacks and defensive backs in general. More players flood the market, thus reducing the market considerably. Just a handful of names available includes Sean Smith, Aqib Talib, Cary Williams, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and maybe Nnamdi Asomugha.
