Steve Wyche with the NFL Network's morning program NFL AM, speculated that free agent cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha's ideal landing spot could be, of all places, the Cincinnati Bengals. Why the Queen City, where a piercing wind is biting bone and snow falls randomly throughout the day? Mike Zimmer, who has developed a reputation of rebuilding players on the down-slope of their careers.
It was fun speculation that argued for a good fit on the field.
But let's face facts. Cincinnati is far more interested in retaining Adam Jones and Terence Newman, an argument we're happily making ourselves, over Asomugha, who could cost 2-4 times more than both combined.
That being said there are four teams being listed as possible destinations for Asomugha.
CB Nnamdi Asomugha's potential destinations include Texans, 49ers, Broncos, and Cardinals, per league source.

Surprised? Me neither.
There wasn't an actual connection here. Nothing more than entertaining probabilities in Cincinnati's otherwise slow free agency (aka, normalcy).
