The free agent quarterback won't be reunited with the Cincinnati Bengals this year.
After arriving to Phoenix for league meetings on Sunday, Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis and President Mike Brown reportedly met with quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, who was recently released from the Buffalo Bills. While in the area Fitzpatrick spoke with the Tennessee Titans on Monday, who hours later released backup quarterback Matt Hasselbeck, who is reportedly close to signing with the Indianapolis Colts -- why doesn't anyone want Josh Johnson?
In the end, a Bengals/Fitzpatrick reunion won't happen this year. according to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter, Fitzpatrick has reached a two-year agreement with the Tennessee Titans.

The Cincinnati Bengals have a need for a backup quarterback (but you're probably aware of that), having only hosted Josh Johnson since last Tuesday. Chris Mortensen reported earlier on Monday that the Bengals were interested in Matt Hasselbeck, but the Bengals were never believed to have been pursuing him.
