It's hard to make a mock draft with Andre Smith still up in the air. So I will make this mock draft with only the current players on the Bengals roster.
21- Alec Ogletree LB- probably one the of the most athletic people in this years draft regardless of position. Ogletree will solidify our underneath coverage and he flies sideline to sideline! Check it out cor yourself...
37- Barrett Jones OL- Multifaceted O-lineman that can step in day 1 in numerous spots along the line.
53- Jonathan Cyprien SS- hard hitting safety that will make an impact on this young defense. Sometimes he's overly aggressive, but boy is he a playmaker that the Bengals need on the back 1/2!
84- Menelik Watson ROT- it takes until the 3rd round to find our replacement for Andre Smith, but he could be our diamond in the ruff for the 2013 draft. Young, athletic and tons of potential. The down side with potential means that he's a bit of a project and not turn key ready.
118- Mike Gillislee RB- everyone is probably asking why round 4 until we take RB and why Gillislee? Because he's a complete back with speed that did his work against the SEC. He also is good is pass protection and has limited miles even though he was a senior in college.
156- Cornelius Washington DE- the Bengals really do love UGA athletes and they do produce for us. So why not go back to the well and see what happens? Washington might have moved up with his combine numbers, but he would look great in stripes!
190- Marquies Goodwin WR/RS- I see Marquies as our return specialist with limited reps as WR.
197- Shamarko Thomas FS- limited size hinders Thomas here. If he was 3 inches taller he would probably mentioned towards the top of the draft. I see Bob Sanders 2.0
240- Lerentee McCray OLB- depth and special teams.
251- Onterio McCalebb RBC - Speed. Speed. Speed.
