Baltimore Ravens Agree To Terms With Defensive Back Michael Huff

USA TODAY Sports

The Baltimore Ravens are rebounding after losing several significant contributors this offseason.

The Baltimore Ravens have agreed to terms with defensive back Michael Huff on a three-year deal, the team announced on Wednesday.

Since winning the Super Bowl last season, the Ravens have lost several players. Inside linebacker Rey Lewis and starting center Matt Birk both retired. Wide receiver Anquan Boldin was traded to the San Francisco 49ers. Safety Ed Reed (Titans), linebacker Dannell Ellerbe, defensive end Paul Kruger, cornerback Cary Williams and safeties Ed Reed (Texans) and Bernard Pollard (Titans) have left during free agency (Pollard was released first).

Baltimore has made some effort to bring talent back, especially on the defensive line, signing defensive tackle Chris Canty and defensive ends Elvis Dumervil and Marcus Spears.

Before making the full time transition to cornerback, Michael Huff graded as the second-best safety according to Pro Football Focusin 2010.
