ANNOUNCEMENT: Cincy Jungle And Who Dey Fans Becomes One

Casey Sapio-USA TODAY Sports

The Cincy Jungle family is growing. Share in the excitement.

During a painful winter extension that overlapped into spring, we've applied pretty little hints about a major announcement that would happen before the 2013 NFL draft. We're proud and very excited to announce that the crew of Who Dey Fans is joining our family at Cincy Jungle, merging into the biggest community of Bengals fans that exists on the internet. The expansion of voices, opinions and commentary won't just be applied by the traditional words on monitor, but rather a dedication of new mediums through podcasts and Google Hangouts, while maintaining the same work ethic to provide timely news and analysis that's kept us going since 2006.

In a lot of ways Cincy Jungle and Who Dey Fans, created by Mickey Mentzer in 2007, were born with similar backgrounds, as fans looking to shed caricatures of the Bengals and fighting against failed stereotypes from those that refused to recognize positive organizational shifts. Yet as voices, commentary and perspectives evolved over the years, the core has always remained the same -- a site for the fans from the fans.

Who Dey Fans will also bring their popular Who Dey Weekly podcast to Cincy Jungle. Hosted and produced by Nick Seuberling with cohost Mickey Mentzer,Who-Dey Weekly has been a finalist in the Podcast Awards the past two seasons in the Sports Category losing out to ESPN both years. The show started production in August 2010 and has produced 96 episodes. Some of the featured guests on the podcast have been Anthony Munoz, Joe Reedy, Geoff Hobson and Cincy Jungle's Joe Goodberry participated in the live mock draft show in 2012.

"I'm really looking forward to working with all the awesome people at Cincy Jungle," Nick said introducing himself to the Cincy Jungle community. "The podcast has been awesome to produce and host over the past 3 seasons. I can't wait to take the show to next level now that we're on board with CJ and SB Nation."

Along with Nick and Mickey, staff writers Bill Cook and Eric McMackin, a veteran at the Bengals Gab page before joining Who Dey Fans, will also join us at Cincy Jungle.

And you thought we kicked ass before.
