Earlier on Friday, we relayed word that the Bengals had reached an agreement with former Indianapolis Colts and Carolina Panthers offensive guard, Mike Pollak. If you remember, Pollak was a former second-round selection by the Colts back in 2008 out of Arizona State. He also has the versatility trait that the Bengals love out of their offensive linemen and made him one of their own.
The team made it official later in the day on Friday, usually meaning that a player has put pen to paper and signed a contract.
As you can read, wide receiver Lavasier Tuinei was a casualty of the Pollak signing. Tuinei was acquired early this offseason after previously spending time on the Seattle Seahawks Practice Squad throughout a good portion of the 2012 season. He was a relatively productive receiver with excellent size at the University of Oregon.
