Barrett Jones in Second?

Perhaps I have been blinded by his life story and illustrious career at Alabama... but is it just me or would Barrett Jones be a huge pickup for us in possibly the second or third round? I haven't heard much talk regarding him and it's perplexing.

I do think he is slightly overrated, however could still serve as a very reliable interior lineman. If we got him, he could either start at C or LG (depending on the health of Kyle Cook). If he started at C, his versatility would allow us to slide him over to either guard position in case Boling/Zeitler went down - with a seasoned veteran, Cook, to step in.

What really intrigues me is his level of intelligence. If he played at LG, you'd have a wealth of intelligence/experience between him, Whitworth, and Cook at reading defenses and calling blocks against Dalton's blind side.

The one major downside (besides questions on his athletic ability) is his injured foot which might put him on the PUP in the beginning of the season. By mid-season though, he should be able to contribute and gradually become incorporated into the line. Your thoughts???
