2013 NFL Draft: Dolphins And Chiefs Break Off Brandon Albert Trade Talks For Now

With the Chiefs reportedly set to take Central Michigan offensive tackle Eric Fisher, they are eagerly attempting a trade with their current left tackle, Brandon Albert. The most willing trade partner to this point would be the Miami Dolphins and both teams have been working on a deal over the past few days. Most believe that a deal will be done this weekend, but a recent report might suggest otherwise.

Ed Werder of ESPN made an appearance on the SportsCenter draft special speaking about the potential Albert trade and said that the talks have ceased until both teams have made their respective first round selections. It's actually a wise decision, especially by the Dolphins, as this year's draft is set to be full of surprises.

There are talks of players slipping, teams trading and the like, so the Dolphins are likely going to see how the chips fall in this wacky-looking first round.
