The Jacksonville Jaguars may not have had a glaring need at the offensive tackle position, but they certainly went with the "best player available" mentality. After Eric Fisher was the somewhat-surprising first overall pick to the Kansas City Chiefs, the Jaguars pulled the trigger on another highly-touted tackle.
Texas A & M's Luke Joeckel is now officially a Jacksonville Jaguar. It will be interesting to see what happens to either Eugene Monroe or Eben Britton, the two bookend tackles over the past couple of years for the team. They could release or trade one. Either way, the top two tackles are off of the board.
