2013 NFL Draft: Baltimore Ravens Select Safety Matt Elam

When you're the Super Bowl Champions, you rarely have to make picks of need in the subsequent year. Not so much the case this year, as the Baltimore Ravens have been fleeced, particularly on defense, thanks to free agency, retirement and trades. The first player that they wanted to find a replacement for was for future Hall of Famer Ed Reed.

The Ravens snagged another player that was supposedly connected to the Bengals in Florida's Matt Elam. Though he's a bit small, Elam plays bigger than his size and should be a decent fit in the Ravens defense.
