Brown, an honorable mention All-Pac in 2012, announced that he was forgoing his senior year to join the NFL. Unfortunately he wasn't drafted this weekend, making him an undrafted free agent.
Brown finished the season with 65 stops (fourth on the team) and a team-high 47 solo tackles. A marque game helped him beat No. 2 USC (at the time) with seven tackles, one for loss with an interception.
OptimumScouting.com ranked Brown as the No. 42 cornerback prospect during the NFL draft.
Rule of Tree (SB Nation's Stanford website), wrote of Brown's Pro day in March:
Brown had nice agility numbers at Pro Day, posting a good shuttle run time as well as a big vertical leap (36.5 inches). It's hard to say that he's better than a late-round prospect at this point, but I think he probably earned a few high marks from scouts. Last year, Johnson Bademosi's good pro day earned him a spot with the Browns, and, well, Brown could easily do the same thing.
