April 15: Voluntary Offseason Workouts Begin
The Cincinnati Bengals offseason workout program starts, starting with phase one that only allows activities related to strength and conditioning as well as physical rehabilitation programs. Only strength and conditioning coaches are allowed to participate and observe activities, according to the collective bargaining agreement. Phase two of the offseason program includes a three-week period allowing coaches on the field to observe and conduct "perfect play" drills. No helmets are allowed.
April 25-27: NFL Draft, New York City, New York
Teams look to rebuild their respective roster through the coveted NFL draft, a seven-round, three-day event that's the biggest offseason weekend remaining on the schedule prior to training camp.
May 10-12: Rookie minicamp
The Bengals will invite all of their draft picks, undrafted free agent signings and invitees (for possible future signings) to workout for the weekend.
May 20-23: Organized Team Activities (OTAs)
Phase three of the offseason workout program, the first two weeks being a maximum of three days. Coaches permitted but no live contact allowed.
May 20-22: NFL Spring League Meeting in Boston
The second round of league meetings that will discuss tabled topics, as well as possible rule adjustments.
May 28-31: Organized Team Activities (OTAs)
Phase three of the offseason workout program, the first two weeks being a maximum of three days. Coaches permitted but no live contact allowed.
June 3-6: Organized Team Activities (OTAs)
Phase three of the offseason workout program, the third week allows a maximum of four practices. Coaches permitted but no live contact allowed.
June 11-13: Mandatory Minicamp
Phase three of the offseason workout program, the fourth week allows three practices. Coaches permitted but no live contact allowed.
August 8: Cincinnati Bengals at Atlanta Falcons (preseason game No. 1)
The Bengals open the preseason during a Thursday night football game, nationally televised on ESPN.
August 15-19: Tennessee Titans at Cincinnati Bengals (preseason game No. 2)

August 22-25: Cincinnati Bengals at Dallas Cowboys (preseason game No. 3)

August 29-30: Indianapolis Colts at Cincinnati Bengals (preseason game No. 4)

September 5, 8-9: NFL Kickoff Weekend
The first of 16 games that will lead to the Bengals first Super Bowl appearance in 25 years.
