The Bengals announced on Tuesday that they have signed fifth-round pick, guard Tanner Hawkinson out of Kansas. Hawkinson was the team's only fifth-round pick and was selected at No. 156 overall.

As mentioned in the tweet, the Bengals now have six of their 10 draft picks under contract. The only four who haven't signed are the first four to be selected, Tyler Eifert, Giovani Bernard, Margus Hunt and Shawn Williams.
Hawkinson has played both tackle and guard while at Kansas and started 48 consecutive games, a school record, for the Jayhawks. The Bengals selected him to provide depth at each position on the line, especially at guards where they have two young starters in Clint Boling and Kevin Zeitler. He did line up at every spot on the line, though, during rookie minicamp.
The Bengals will now work on signing their selections from the first three rounds as they head into the first Organized Team Activities (OTAs) which are scheduled to begin on May 20.
