Bengals Favored In 7 Games According To Vegas Oddsmakers

Robert Laberge

The Vegas sports books came out with their 2013 odds. Here's what they had to say about the Bengals matchups.

The Vegas sports books came out with their odds for each game in the upcoming season from Week 1 through Week 16. They don't come out with the odds for Week 17 because teams resting their starters throws off the odds.

Here's what they had to say about the Bengals odds.

Week 1:

Cincinnati Bengals at Chicago Bears (-3)

The Bears are favored by three points (which is home field advantage) in their season opener against the Bengals.

Week 2:

Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals (-1)

The Bengals are technically favored by one point in Monday Night Football at home against the Steelers in Week 2, but if you take away the three points for home field advantage, the Steelers are favored by two.

Week 3:

Green Bay Packers at Cincinnati Bengals (Pick)

Surprisingly, the Packers and Bengals are even right now in their Week 3 matchup in Cincinnati.

Week 4:

Cincinnati Bengals at Cleveland Browns (+3)

The Bengals are favored by three over the Browns and, again, if you take away the three points for home field advantage, they're favored by six.

Week 5:

New England Patriots at Cincinnati Bengals (+1.5)

The Patriots are favored by 1.5 over the Bengals in Cincinnati in Week 5.

Week 6:

Cincinnati Bengals at Buffalo Bills (+2.5)

The Bengals are favored by 2.5 in their Week 6 game in Buffalo against the Bills.

Week 7:

Cincinnati Bengals at Detroit Lions (-1.5)

The Lions are technically favored by 1.5 over the Bengals, but if you take away home field advantage, the Bengals are favored by 1.5.

Week 8:

New York Jets at Cincinnati Bengals (-4.5)

The Bengals get their biggest point spread over another team in Week 8 when they are favored by 4.5 over the Jets.

Week 9:

Cincinnati Bengals at Miami Dolphins (-1)

The Dolphins are surprisingly favored over the Bengals in Miami by one point.

Week 10:

Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens (-3)

The Ravens are favored by three in their home game against the Bengals. The spread would be even without home field advantage.

Week 11:

Cleveland Browns at Cincinnati Bengals (-6)

The Bengals are favored by six in their second game against the Browns.

Week 12:

Bye

Week 13:

Cincinnati Bengals at San Diego Chargers (Pick)

The other Bengals game where the odds are even is in Week 13 when they go to San Diego to face the Chargers.

Week 14:

Indianapolis Colts at Cincinnati Bengals (-4.5)

The Bengals are favored by 4.5 in Week 14 when they host Andrew Luck and the Colts.

Week 15:

Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers (-2.5)

The Steelers are favored by 2.5 in their second prime time game against the Bengals at home in Week 15

Week 16:

Minnesota Vikings at Cincinnati Bengals (-2.5)

The Bengals are favored by 2.5 in Week 16 when they host Adrian Peterson and the Vikings

Week 17:

NA

So, if the Vegas oddsmakers are correct, the Bengals will head into their Week 17 game at home against the Ravens with seven wins and six losses with two games undecided. So, they could either be 9-6 looking to lock their playoff spot with a win, they could be 7-8 and looking to even up their record or they could be 8-7 and looking at an outside shot at a wildcard spot.

It's early, but the earlier the odds come out, the more money the oddsmakers make. What games would you bet on right now?
