Overview:
The Jets have been in bad shape lately. Gone seem the days when Mark Sanchez was able to lead the Jets to the AFC Championship, paired with a top-ranked defense and strong running game. Today's Jets are nothing but drama and underachievement. Miraculously, Rex Ryan has been able to keep his job, but the same may not go for Mark Sanchez.
The Jets have defeated the Bengals nine of the last 10 games, including their win over the Bengals in Cincinnati in the playoffs in January of 2010. However, the Jets are in such bad shape heading into the 2013 season that this game may actually be the easiest on their schedule. That doesn't mean the Bengals should overlook their Week 8 opponent, though.
