We asked you earlier this week how you'd feel about the Cincinnati Bengals being on HBO's training camp documentary Hard Knocks. It's been difficult to gauge possible connections because most teams are shying away from the popular HBO documentary, worried about showing too much, or adding distractions when players should be focusing on their craft. The San Diego Chargers and Seattle Seahawks were the most recent teams that turned down the opportunity.
And now it might be the Bengals after all.
By way of a Joe Reedy tweet Friday night, Paul Domowitch with the Philadelphia Daily News tweets that the Bengals will be on Hard Knocks this year.
Bengals will be featured team on HBO's "Hard Knocks" series this summer.— Paul Domowitch (@pdomo) June 15, 2013
UPDATE: Paul Domowitch's tweet was deleted around 10:35 p.m.
UPDATE II: Joe Reedy with the Cincinnati Enquirer confirmed that the Bengals will be on Hard Knocks this year.
If true, this will be the second time in five years that fans will be awarded with a behind the scenes look at the Bengals training camp. In 2009, the documentary highlighted Chad Johnson and an assortment of position battles.
