Worst First-Round Pick?

It was suggested earlier that there should be a post regarding the Bengals' worst first-round pick of all time, so I decided to take the initiative and make that post. You're welcome. After scouring the pick history, I realized a couple of things: first, collecting stats on a group of people is mind numbing (as ephram must know); second, the Bengals' worst period of first-round picks came in the mid-80s, including a double-miss in 1984. Here is the field I narrowed it to, in chronological order. I've used only their stats as members of the Bengals, as that's essentially what makes them a worthwhile pick for this team.

WR Billy Brooks, #11 overall, 1976: 45 games, 93 receptions, 1683 yards, 7 TD, 3 rushes for -17 yards

TE Mike Cobb, #22 overall, 1977: 46 games, 9 receptions, 114 yards, 0 TD

QB Jack Thompson, #3 overall, 1979: 32 games, 47.3% comp., 2072 yards, 13 TD, 19 Int., 55.1 Rating

WR David Verser, #10 overall, 1981: 49 games, 23 receptions, 454 yards, 3 TD, 7 rushes for 48 yards

LB Ricky Hunley, #7 overall, 1984: Traded without playing for Bengals

DE Pete Koch, #16 overall, 1984: 16 games, 0 sacks

LB Emanuel King, #25 overall, 1985: 51 games, 15 sacks, 1 fumble recovery

LB Joe Kelly, #11 overall, 1986: 58 games, 3 sacks, 2 Int, 4 FR

DE Jason Buck, #17 overall, 1987: 60 games, 14.5 sacks, 1 FR

QB David Klingler, #6 overall, 1992: 31 games, 54.6% comp., 3880 yards, 16 TD, 21 Int, 66.1 Rating

RB Ki-Jana Carter, #1 overall, 1995: 35 games, 227 carries for 747 yards (3.3 avg.), 52 receptions for 375 yards, 17 total TD

QB Akili Smith, #3 overall, 1999: 22 games, 46.6% comp., 2212 yards, 5 TD, 13 Int., 52.8 Rating

RB Chris Perry, #26 overall, 2004: 35 games, 177 carries for 606 yards (3.4 avg.), 83 receptions for 474 yards, 4 total TD

LB Keith Rivers, #9 overall, 2008: 35 games, 2 sacks, 2 Int., 1 forced fumble

You must choose, but choose wisely.
