BENGALS trivia Question to pass time in the offseason (#6) ... ANSWERED

OK, the last question was about the Wide Receivers. Now it's time to look at the Running Backs.

Yards Per Carry.

The Bengals record for best Yards Per Carry is Jeff Hayes with a whopping 30.7 Yards Per Carry in his Bengal Career.

Although he was a punter, and only made 3 rushing attempts in his Bengals career.

The best Yards Per Carry by a Bengal Running Back was De De Dorsey, who averaged 7.3 Yards Per Carry on 26 rushes as a Bengal.

(An argument could be made for Warren McVea and his 14.8 YPC as the best average for a RB, but he was more of a receiver in his 1 season as a Bengal, even though he ran a lot more than he caught throughout the rest of his career).

Looking at the Bengals Running Backs who have rushed for at least 200 carries as a Bengal, which Running Back listed below had the best Yards Per Carry average as a Cincinnati Bengal?

... James Brooks ___ 4.8 yards per carry (1344 for 6447) Ickey Woods ___ 4.6 yards per carry (332 for 1525) Kenny Watson ___ 4.6 yards per carry (242 for 1117) Essex Johnson ___ 4.5 yards per carry (675 for 3070) Stanley Wilson ___ 4.4 yards per carry (253 for 1118) Corey Dillon ___ 4.3 yards per carry (1865 for 8061) Bernard Scott ___ 4.1 yards per carry (255 for 1035) Rudi Johnson ___ 4.0 yards per carry (1441 for 5742) Cedric Benson ___ 3.8 yards per carry (1109 for 4176) Garrison Hearst ___ 3.8 yards per carry (225 for 847)
