After taking a breather on Tuesday and Wednesday, linebacker James Harrison and Adam Jones are back at practice on Thursday as the team prepares for their dress rehearsal against the Cowboys in Dallas (Saturday, 8 p.m). Jones was returning punts at the start of practice; a normal session following Wednesday's wash out. It was presumed both sat for extended rest.
Offensive tackle Tanner Hawkinson and safety George Iloka have also returned to practice. Iloka is sporting a soft cast after injuring his wrist last week and Hawkinson recently suffered an ankle injury against the Falcons two weeks ago Thursday. Andrew Whitworth and A.J. Green have been practicing and may make their preseason debut this Saturday.
Robert Geathers is sitting for his fourth practice, making him somewhat doubtful to play this weekend (Lewis wants players to practice during the week before a game). If he can't, the recently rehabilitated Carlos Dunlap should make the start on Saturday. Brandon Ghee joined Geathers on Thursday.
