AJ GREEN among the elite 2,400 club

Over the last 2 years only 8 wide receivers have accumulated 2,400 receiving yards.

Name ... G ... Rec ... Yds ... TD
Calvin Johnson ... 32 ... 218 ... 3645 ... 21
Wes Welker ... 32 ... 240 ... 2923 ... 15
Brandon Marshall ... 32 ... 199 ... 2722 ... 17
Roddy White ... 32 ... 192 ... 2647 ... 15
Victor Cruz ... 32 ... 168 ... 2628 ... 19
Steve Smith ... 32 ... 152 2568 ... 11
Vincent Jackson ... 32 ... 132 ... 2490 ... 17
AJ Green ... 31 ... 162 ... 2407 ... 18

Among them is our very own AJ Green.
Even more amazing is that AJ Green compiled those 2,400 yards in his first 2 years in the NFL. Usually, young wide receivers spend their first year or more adapting to the NFL game, and it takes until their third season that they really begin to excel.

Oh, and if that isn’t impressive enough, AJ Green is 3rd of those WR’s with 18 receiving TD’s (only 3 behind Calvin Johnson’s 21).

Oh, and if that isn’t impressive enough, AJ Green was the only wide receiver on this list who reached the 2,400 level without playing in all 32 NFL games. He missed a game his rookie season, and still reached this elite echelon of 2,400 receiving yards. Wow!
