Cincinnati Bengals linebacker and special teams ace Vinnie Rey suffered a possible injury during Monday's practice. The injury is being described as a possible sprained PCL, which will keep him out for a while.
However, Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis told reporters on Tuesday that Rey could return next week in time for the team's second preseason game against the Tennessee Titans.

The injury however hasn't appeared serious enough to raise many alarms. Rey was walking after suffering the injury on his own.
Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis said last week that Rey is the likely candidate to replace Dan Skuta, who left for the San Francisco 49ers during the offseason, as the special teams captain.
"Vinnie can get in there and play any of the spots; he's such a leader on the football team,"Lewis said via Bengals.com. "He's kind of the captain of the special teams. He basically assumes the role that Skuta had."
"Guys respect Vinnie because of how hard he works,"special teams coach Darrin Simmons said told Bengals.com. "He may not be the most vocal guy, the guy that you follow because of what he says. But you follow him by what he does. He's got the respect of the younger players. He knows everything as well as I do. That's a calming thing."
