Bengals host former Seahawks linebacker Leroy Hill

Steven Bisig-US PRESSWIRE

The Cincinnati Bengals are still looking for a linebacker through free agency, but they're not expected to make any changes before Pittsburgh.

Looking for linebackers.

Yep.

Still looking.

The Cincinnati Bengals hosted free agent linebacker Leroy Hill this week for a tryout. Hill, a former third round pick during the 2005 NFL draft, spent eight seasons with the Seattle Seahawks but wasn't resigned following the 2012 season (12 starts, 47 tackles). Hill has 511 career tackles, 20.0 quarterback sacks, 11 passes defensed and eight forced fumbles.

Hill becomes the sixth known linebacker that the Bengals have hosted, following Thomas Howard, Tyrone McKenzie, Michael Boley, Etienne Sabino and Maalik Bomar.

However, don't expect any changes to the team's roster until after Monday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

One of suspected reasons why he wasn't re-signed in Seattle was a felony domestic violence charge in which police said that he assaulted her girlfriend and kept her in his home against her will. The charges were eventually dismissed after prosecutors found no sufficient cause.
