I don't agree with the release of D Moch. It is unmistakable that the guy has had his problems (headaches, suspension, etc.). But what is undeniable is he talent he had 3.5 sacks in two successive preseasons, the man can run for days, for those of you who care that's .875 sacks per game over the aforementioned time span, that's crazy. This season he seemingly has gotten it together...........headaches are gone and there aren't any looming suspensions. with emmanuel lamur going do for the season we need bodies at the LB spot especially one that can rush the passer as Moch has shown. He does have his deficiencies in coverage (To be lamented fervently) but with a secondary which looked as porous as the Bengals looked this preseason, it behooves me to articulate the need for more pass rush to mask our secondary's problems or inadequacies.
Dontay Moch should have made the 53 and given a last opportunity to make an impact with the Bengals (Brandon Ghee has gotten said opportunity). Is Ryan Whalen better at his position than Moch or even Taylor Mays is he better?
Now he is with the Cardinals I am sure when we look back we might have sellers remorse.
