A week removed from our loss in the playoffs I'm looking towards the off-season and what we need to do to win that elusive SB. We have a lot of key free agents up this year, most of which will luckily be somewhat cost effective. I think we will continue to build through the draft with some veteran free agents brought in to fill out the roster. I've put a mock draft up so I won't go over that here. I believe we are going to have to choose between Michael Johnson and Anthony Collins as the key resign this season. With us drafting Hunt, and resigning Dunlap, Im leaning toward AC, this way we won't have to restart at such a key position and allows us to kick Whit inside and focus on the problem at center. As for outside FA I don't want any major signings, just being smart with our money and believing in our program by resigning our own talent. As far as our QB and HC go, they are both in contract years and should not be given extensions at this time this is their year to prove it or lose their jobs collectively. Greens contract situation is tough for me, as much as I want him in Stripes for life I have a hard time coming to grips with a WR taking up over 10% of our salary cap per year; when we could have Mojo, Sanu, Baby Hawk, and both TE's for roughly the same price. The Zimmer situation is concerning but I think Marv makes good picks for his coaching staff.

Wrapping up:

2014 is a "prove it" year for our team in many ways. Players wanting contracts, coaches coaching for their jobs. Are we ever going to be elite? Is Andy the answer? How long is this roster ripe with talent, going to be able to be kept together? With the schedule being the way it is, it's going to be tough to replicate this years success with two new coordinators, but I still believe the division is winnable with another sound off-season.
