After all the doom and gloom today and for the next several months I wanted to take a step back and recognize those who truly deserve it: us. I was at the game yesterday, tailgating in the cold, rainy weather, talking with Bengals fans who really wanted to see a huge playoff win and just talk football and then sat through that disastrous game with them. The Jungle was alive yesterday! I know a lot of folks left towards very end with a few minutes to go, but I'm not going after anyone for that. After the way the Bengals played, can't blame everyone for that. But I wanted to say I really enjoyed all those folks I talked and laughed with yesterday, seeing the stadium completely full (we're talking every seat covered in orange and black) was awesome. It hurts me knowing that a win would've meant more to the fans than can even be imagined. But the fans were still there in full force, we've been backing the Bengals all year and despite a terrible end, this is still a season I truly enjoyed and I wanted to thank all of you for that. I know several are very angry right now, but what would you have rather done than eat, drink and sleep Bengals football? Great job friends of Cincy Jungle, this group is the best and classiest on the web and I look forward to talking with every day and always will.
