NFL Draft and Free Agent Wishlist

Mitch Stringer-USA TODAY Sports

The last games have been very pathetic and while I don't like to look so far into the future I do think I want to take my mind off this terrible team. Please fill free to chime in with certain players you want or certain positions you think we need.

In my mind the positions in order that we need and why:

OT-This is our biggest need with Andre playing very bad and getting many penalties in the game it might be time to find a replacement. Not to mention Whitworth isnt getting any younger and seems to be loosing his edge. I would even be surprised if we took one in the first and then another in the 5th or 6th.

DT- with the Bengals hopefully eventually getting Geno back on track to being himself we need a DT. Peko in my opinion isn't worth what we pay him and the only other good dt is Brandon Thompson. We need to draft Peko's replacement. If Geno either gets injured or by end of year is still playing like he is we may need to use this to grab a stud dt in case Geno never comes back from injury issues.

LB- we really could use a lb especially one who can cover. With Burfict keep getting injured we may even need a top middle lb and can finally push Maualuga to the outside.

LG- This is my final position of need as I think it will either be by drafting a good guard for depth or maybe pushing whit inside and getting a first round LT who will be a stud.

K- We should at least try out another kicker we owe it too ourselves

Positions I think we will be fine on:

QB- this class I doubt has a Peyton Manning-type and Dalton has played well this season I doubt we just get rid of him this year.

DE- Dunlap is a beast this year making us say Michael Johnson who? Gilberry has done good at times. Hunt and Clarke are developmental and will provide enough to warrant not drafting a DE unless a top pass rusher falls too us. I also think most of our issues on the line are at dt which hopefully can be fixed this next year.

WR- J is going to be great and as long as we can retain Sanu and some of these wr's I don't see us taking a wr in the top half of the draft and only see a special-teamer or low string WR being drafted in late rounds.

S/CB-same as wr maybe a late pick but that is it. We still got Dennard who I think will be great, Leon Hall and Pacman. While Kirkpatrick is a bust for where he was drafted he still is a serviceable 4th CB who can play special teams. Our safeties have been playing well and I don't see us drafting another safety.

RB- Gio and Hill enough said.

Any other positions I think we are fine on but might have not wrote them because of forgetting about them or not really having any points as to why or why not we should get someone.
