Bengals attend Boston College Pro Day

Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports

Boston College offers a handful of depth players that could develop into serviceable, if not productive, talent in the NFL.

The Cincinnati Bengals were one of 29 teams that attended Boston College's Pro day on Wednesday, according to reports. One player that Cincinnati could be looking at is Andre Williams, who had improved his 40-yard dash on Wednesday. The Doak Walker winner rushed for 2,177 yards rushing on 355 carries during his final season, setting school records. ESPN ranks him as the seventh-best running back prospect while CBS Sports gives him a fourth-round grade.

Going for him is impressive power but an aim towards improving his versatility.

"Running back is such a versatile position. I know I'm going to have a role to play when I get to the league," he said. "I'm a power back that has a unique combination of speed and size."

Outside linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis looked good but "struggled catching the ball" during drills on Wednesday. Other prospects that participated include defensive end Kasim Edebali, defensive tackle Kaleb Ramsey, offensive tackle Matt Patchan and place kicker Nate Freese, who converted every field goal attempt, "including a 60-yarder."
