Something fishy is afoot regarding Alabama Left Tackle Cyrus Kouandjio. In one report we hear he has a bad knee, he has arthritis in his knee, his knee is about to fall off, dropping his draft stock from the middle 1st round to the late 2nd round on some draft boards.
Then we read a knee problem is new news to Kouandjio. He's fine. He's been fine. He doesn't understand where this is coming from. He has not failed any physicals. The knee issues are fabricated.
Hmmm. Lemesee. On the one hand, it could be a team trying to lower his draft stock to land him in later in the first round or early second round. (My money is on New England. Hey don't get mad at me because you guys have been caught cheating so many times.) On the other hand, Cyrus Kouandjio is looking at the loss of a lot of money dropping out of a top 15 slot. So of course he and his agent will cry foul.
So which is it? Seeing him available at 24 will certainly get me salivating. But is he a dirty low-down piece of smelliness just trying to get paid. I don't know. I just know something ain't figuring.
