Cincy Jungle Writer's Mock Draft: Oakland Raiders on the Clock

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The Raiders are on the clock, and they could go in a number of directions with this pick.

Time for the latest edition of the Cincy Jungle Writer's Mock Draft. Be sure to keep up with all of the picks in a out stream page.

Next up are the Oakland Raiders, who are in desperate need of a QB, but at this point, they just need a game-changer to bring to a depleted roster.

Anthony: Raiders take Greg Robinson, OT, Auburn

With two QBs gone, Watkins and Clowney also off the board, the Raiders might be forced to go in a direction that they didn't expect. Teddy Bridgewater and others could be their target, but with the loss of Jared Veldheer in free agency and the Roger Saffold debacle, I think that they take a monster tackle to solidify their offensive line for the next half-decade.

Mickey: Raiders take Johnny Manziel, QB, Texan A&M

This is another situation where there is debate over the best QB on the board or the best wideout on the board. I think the Raiders fall in love with the excitement Manziel would bring to the franchise. The Raiders are another team that hopes to solidify the position in the draft with one of the top prospects on the board. Whether or not that happens with Manziel is an entirely different argument.

Jason: Raiders take Khalil Mack, LB, Buffalo

The Raiders should be in the market for a QB, but with Bortles and Bridgewater off the board, they go with the best available player, and Mack might just be the best player available in this draft.

Mack will instantly upgrade what on paper is one of the weaker defenses in the NFL. Pairing him alongside rush linebackers Sio Moore and the newly signed Lamarr Woodley will make this defense a terror for opposing QBs to face.

Mack set an NCAA record with 16 forced fumbles and is tied for first in NCAA history with 75 tackles for loss to go with 28.5 career sacks, including 10.5 as a senior.
