My Ideal Bengals 2014 Draft

Round 1- Pick 24: Teddy Bridgewater-QB

I know that most people on here believe the hype about Teddy having lack luster practices, some even compare him to Geno Smith. I personally think he will fall past us and we should pull the trigger. Teddy has never had anyone question his character or work ethic, unlike Geno. He is also the only QB in this draft who could give Dalton the training camp competition he needs for 2014. (I'm assuming he won't unseat Dalton until 2015)

Round 2-Pick 55: Lamarcus Joyner-S

While small compared to the rest of our secondary, he is a versatile player and could contribute in his rookie season.

Round 3-Pick 88: Pierre Desir-CB

I don't know how many of you have seen this guy's highlights, but I'm convinced that he could produce just as easily as the bigger names in the 2014 draft. He's 6'1", so he even has a size advantage over those premiere CBs.

Round 4-Pick 123 Tyler Larsin-OC

I'm assuming that at least one of the top five centers falls into our laps here, seeing as they aren't in heavy demand this year.

Round 5-Pick 164 Deion Belue-CB

This is more of a depth pick, but over time I believe that he could be a solid starter, or at least contribute in rotation.

Round 6-Pick 199 Josh Huff-WR

Many people want his teammate De'Anthony Thomas, though Josh Huff also returned plenty of balls in his time at Oregon and could overtake Brandon Tate in his first year. His health could be a concern though, he has been hurt on a return before.

Round 6-Pick 212 Aaron Colvin-CB

I know, I know this is the third CB I've drafted in my head, but because we took a chance on Desir, we need to make sure at least one of the CBs drafted could contribute. Colvin has plenty of potential to breakout in his first year.

Round 7-Pick 239 Colt Lyerla (lol, not even with Mike Brown at the helm would this happen) Jay Prosch-FB

Orson Charles is a fool at FB and his character is now in question, seems like an easy pick here if he's there.

Round 7-Pick 252 Stephen Morris-QB

Honestly I just think bringing in fresh QBs will make Dalton play at a higher level, if that is the case, then Morris may help us without ever even taking the field. If he were to make the team though he could be groomed into a great backup over time.
