Apparently the Raiders are shopping his services, for what i'd have to assume would be a 6th or 7th round pick.
Before you instantly say, "Heck no Bubba Joe!", consider the following.
Then, you can say "Heck no Bubba Joe!".
+ Pryor was in Oakland when Hue was there. So there is a connection between our current OC and Pryor. And perhaps there are ways that Hue could use Pryor which were not used correctly when Hue left oakland.
+ Pryor is a big, effective runner (ala Cam Newton). He rushed for over 550 yards in 9 starts last year.
+ Pryor has never had an opportunity to succeed, becuase Oakland simply does not have the weapons, or O-Line, of Cincinnati. Despite the lack of talent around him, he still completed over 57% of his passes, and about 200 yards per start.
+ Has shown an ability to play big at times. Against playof bound San Diego, Pryor had 221 yards with 2 td's and 0 int's, on 78.3% completions and a 136 QB Rating. And he did that with his top RB out, and throwing to the likes of Rod Streater. Not AJ Green. Not Marvin Jones. But Rod freaking Streater.
At the end of the day, Pryor has a good arm. He is a geat runner. And at age 24 still has good upside if placed in a quality offense (like Cincy).
And he would come a lot cheaper than somebody like Garappalo or Metzenberger or so forth...
