Last night I felt a little bit like the Bengals missed with their 24th pick. When Fuller went, I was disappointed. I like Darqueze, but I felt he was the 4th best CB in the draft after Fuller, Gilbert, and Verrett. I didn't think the 4th best CB was worth the 24th pick.
But today I feel differently. Dennard was ranked by most as the 3rd best CB and all say he can start next year. Perhaps not week 1, but he can be a starter next year. There is no other CB in the draft which that could be said. I love his physical brand of football and I don't think he will ever be anything but above average. Will he be the likely dominant CB that Fuller and Gilbert will be? Probably not, but No Fly is also likely the most likely No Bust CB candidate.
