Who has the best fans in the NFL?

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Forbes wrote an article ranking the top ten fan bases in the NFL:

Our ranking is based on five criteria: hometown crowd reach (defined by Nielsen Scarborough as a percentage of the metropolitan area population that watched, attended, and/or listened to a game in the last year), 3 years worth of television ratings (per Nielsen), 3 years of stadium attendance based on capacity reached, 3 years worth of merchandise sales (per NFLShop.com), and social media reach (a combination of Facebook likes and Twitter followers based on the team's metro area population).

I'm a little surprised the Browns didn't make the top ten and unfortunately not surprised that we didn't make the cut, either. There's obviously a long tradition of great football in Green Bay that we're only beginning to sniff here in Cincinnati.

Will we improve our standing? Have we changed at all for the better, or worse, through the decades? Are we more demanding than other fan bases? Any thoughts on how we improve--is it team outreach, team performance, or is it all on us?
