Nothing like a Live game

I have yet to watch a Bengals game this preseason from start to end this year, when it was happening. Mostly because of various celebrations and other events, including blackouts, that have stymied my time to watch my team play. Tonight I'm heading down to Paul Brown to watch the game live. There is truly nothing like it. The roar of the crowd, the feel of everything in the stadium is absolutely surreal. I honestly even enjoy the nosebleed seats just as much as I do the box seats.

And while this game may not count toward their record, and a majority of players playing tonight might not even be on the team in a couple of days, or playing on the team this year, it's still a blast. And I'm all the way up in the 300's, but who cares. IT'S FOOTBALL SEASON. (well sorta) But I can't freaking wait. Maybe I'll see a few of you guys down there, probably not, but I hope you guys enjoy what should be a solid thrashing of the Colts tonight like I will.

But here's my question, I haven't been to a lot of Bengals games in my life but in the last 5 years I've been to about 15 including 7 last year. The Bengals cumulative record when I'm at the games is 14-1. The one loss being the playoff loss last year. Not too shabby, but I think it might be because I didn't perform all my pre-game and during game rituals that night. So it's clearly my fault and not the team's fault for losing to San Diego....I've let you down. So this year I'm going to make up for it. Going to every game I can and performing my paranoid rituals. So we will probably win a Super Bowl this year.

Here's the list and the proof why they work:

I have to get a $5 dollar program. (The only time I didn't was at the beginning of the Browns game, I ran the stadium steps and when I got back to my seat, no lie 30 seconds later James Harrison had his interception almost return for a TD)

I have to be sitting in my seat at kickoff. (I wasn't in my seat for the beginning of the Ravens game, stopped to watch the field, and Dalton was picked...)

I have to buy a Large Soda. (On one of Corradelle Patterson's kick returns, I said I was thirsty, but I wanted to wait until the next play, kick return for 40 yards...)

Before the game I have to play a game of madden as the Bengals vs the team they play. (This one hasn't been proven, it's just really fun)

Before the game I have to tell someone new my crazy rituals. (The only day I didn't tell someone who already knew about it was the playoff loss...)

There you have it. It's my fault friends. But no worries I will make sure to do the right thing this year. By starting off with telling all of you my crazy story. Hopefully a lot of you are going to the game tonight. WHO DEY.
