We took an immediate spin around Twitter following the announcement of the Bengals' third round draft pick, Nick Vigil a Utah State University linebacker who the Bengals believe will be great competition for the bottom half of the linebacker roster.
This is probably the least enthusiastic response from Twitter of any of the Bengals' first three Draft picks.
And you guys said Tyler Boyd was a reach. Will someone tell me who in the hell Nick Vigil is? #Bengals

Marvin Lewis: Vigil has chance to be three-down LB. Smart kid who understands passing game and passing lanes. Downhill tackler in run game.

LB coach Jim Haslett: He'll have a big role on special teams. He's got great speed. Try to fit him in among LBs. Play multiple positions.

Love the Vigil pick. Grade: A. Tough kid.

#BengalsTwitter will be sad to find out Nick Vigil cut his rat tail off before the Combine. Didn't want to meet coaches w/ it.

Vigil's 3-Cone and Shuttle are insanely good. He's going to look like Dante Hall amongst our current LBs.

Sounds like the Bengals see Vigil as a Nickel LB down the road. That's exciting. We've been asking for that.
