I'm not really a fan of MJD and I don't actually agree with him all that often, but every now and then he nails one. People who thought the NFL got this one right were dead wrong. If they can raise it for a concert they can (and should) raise it for a game.

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco says he wants to fight welterweight boxing titlist Andre Berto, whom he outweighs by roughly 50 pounds. Berto says he'll give the football star "the beating of his life."

Whoa… MJD on the Shutdown Corner actually wrote an intelligent article for once. Mark this one down in your diaries folks! OK, sarcasm aside, his writing is at least fairly often rather poor but this one is head and shoulders above the rest. If I was commish I think this would be my absolute second change (as soon as I fixed replay of course).
