Kyle Cook To Have Pin Removed "Either This Week Or Early Next Week"

Stay connected for news and updates

Two weeks ago Kyle Cook, the Cincinnati Bengals original starting center, was eligible to come off Injured Reserve after suffering a high ankle sprain earlier this year during the preseason.

Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis told reporters on Wednesday that "doctors will remove the pin" in his "right ankle either this week or early next week." Lewis added that Cook is "doing very well."

During his absence the team signed Jeff Faine as a temporary starting solution, while Trevor Robinson played a backup role and even participated during half of the team's offensive snaps against the Steelers last week.
