Steve Mitchell-US PRESSWIRE
The Cincinnati Bengals are undoubtedly attending most college Pro Days to fill in their scouting reports. The University of Miami isn't one of them.
There are 29 teams attending the Pro Day at the University of Miami on Thursday, scouting upwards to 20 former Hurricanes at Greentree Field and the Hecht Athletic Center. The three teams not attending according to Chris Steuber are the Cincinnati Bengals, Washington Redskins and Chicago Bears.
A list of players working on Thursday include (via the Miami Herald):
The recently departed Hurricanes who will be working out tomorrow are, in alphabetical order, punter Dalton Botts, linebacker Ramon Buchanan, running back Mike James, receiver Davon Johnson, offensive lineman Ben Jones, offensive lineman Jeremy Lewis, cornerback Brandon McGee, defensive tackle Darius Smith, defensive back Andrew Swasey, safety Vaughn Telemaque and kicker Jake Wieclaw.
The other list of former Canes includes names you know well: safety Ray-Ray Armstrong, receiver Ben Bruneau, receiver Thearon Collier, running back Graig Cooper, quarterback Jacory Harris, long snapper Chris Ivory, defensive lineman Marcus Robinson and defensive lineman Andrew Smith.
We're keeping our eye out for confirmed visits by the Bengals, though you can assume a high probability that feature Pro Day reports with a significant number of teams probably includes the Bengals -- but then, maybe not.
