Geoff Hobson reports:
The Bengals on Tuesday waived DT Matthias Askew and C Jesse Boone, and acquired DT Daniel Watts as an International Practice Squad player.
I'm sure a number of things contributed to his release. Arrests and injuries are -- I'm guessing here -- the main reasons.

This doesn't surprise me at all. He has had a questionable work ethic since his arrival here and his recent troubles couldn't have helped.
