Bengals and Houshmandzadeh talk extension

Lost in all the Chad Johnson trade-me hoopla is the fact that T.J. Houshmandzadeh will be entering the final season of his contract. Houshmandzadeh, the most defined receiver on the team, has caught 202 passes for 2,224 yards and 21 scores in the past two seasons.

Geoff Hobson writes that the Bengals and Houshmandzadeh met Thursday to discuss an extension. Houshmandzadeh is represented by Kinnard McGuire.
